Thanks to its high proportion of legumes, this cereal-legume blend naturally fixes atmospheric nitrogen, reducing fertilizer requirements. It forms a dense cover that limits weed development and reduces the need for herbicides and fungicides. In addition, the combination of several species allows better risk distribution, as some species perform better depending on climatic conditions.

Its cultivation is simple and rapid, with sowing from mid-February when weather conditions allow. Its flexible harvesting offers several options:

  • In spring (booting stage): early silage harvest for highly digestible forage.
  • Late June–early July (dough grain stage): direct-cut silage harvest for improved preservation and utilization.
