Prot-E-Fast is a temporary seed mixture designed for intensive forage production and the creation of energy- and protein-rich stocks. Designed for a lifespan of 1 to 2 years, it delivers exceptional leaf biomass yield and rapid establishment, ensuring the first production shortly after sowing.

Its composition is based on a high-performance blend of tetraploid ryegrasses (Italian, perennial, hybrid, and Westerwold) and crimson clover, ensuring excellent nutritional value and optimal forage digestibility. Thanks to its high legume content, Prot-E-Fast also contributes to natural nitrogen fixation, thereby reducing the need for fertilization.

This mixture is ideal for forage production as a catch crop and meets the requirements of the Ecological Focus Areas (EFA) in Wallonia. It has excellent cold resistance, allowing early spring regrowth and maximizing the number of cuts available throughout its exploitation period.

Thanks to the varieties tested by Fourrage Mieux and Agra-Ost, Prot-E-Fast ensures rapid establishment, high productivity, and excellent palatability for livestock feeding.
