Prot-E-Max is a specific blend designed for the establishment of new permanent grasslands, but it can also be used for overseeding, provided that shallow sowing is carried out (maximum depth of 1 cm). It is ideal for farmers looking for a versatile forage, rich in protein and suitable for mixed use (grazing and cutting).
Its balanced composition combines high-quality grasses (tetraploid and diploid perennial ryegrass, timothy grass, meadow fescue, and Kentucky bluegrass) with white clover, promoting excellent leaf biomass production and high protein content. The presence of legumes also enables natural atmospheric nitrogen fixation, thereby reducing the need for fertilization.
With rapid establishment, high and consistent yield, and excellent resistance to trampling, Prot-E-Max ensures a dense, long-lasting, and highly palatable pasture. Its varieties, tested by Fourrage Mieux and Agra-Ost, guarantee great flexibility of use and very good disease tolerance, allowing less intensive management (3 to 4 cuts per year) while maintaining optimal productivity.
