Product details

Méteil Nutri is a versatile and fast-growing crop. This unique combination produces balanced forage in terms of protein, starch, and fiber, making it ideal for livestock nutrition.

Thanks to the presence of legumes, Méteil Nutri naturally fixes nitrogen, reducing fertilizer requirements. Its dense structure limits weed development, reducing the need for herbicides and lowering the risk of lodging. By combining several species, it also ensures better risk distribution, as each component reacts differently to climatic conditions.

Its harvesting flexibility allows for several options:

Late April–early May: early silage harvest to allow a following summer crop (maize, sorghum, vegetables).
Late June–early July: direct-cut silage at the dough grain stage.
Mid-July–late July: dry grain harvest.
With simple establishment and rapid productivity, Méteil Nutri is an ideal solution for optimizing forage resources on the farm.

Advantages

  • Balanced forage in protein, starch, and cellulose.
  • Reduced need for fungicides and herbicides (fewer weeds, less lodging).
  • Limited fertilization requirements thanks to nitrogen fixation.
  • Yield security through the combination of multiple species adapted to different climatic conditions.
  • Rapid production and easy establishment.
  • Multiple harvesting options depending on the farm’s needs.
